HOW TO FIND RILEY'S GALLERY
From the A171 (Guisborough-Whitby Rd) turn off at Lockwood Beck (signposted Castleton/Hutton le Hole). Turn right at old bus shelter- continue down hill past church and up opposite hill towards Kildale. Studio/gallery is on right hand side above cream cottage past 30mph sign. Gallery sign is not always out, sign on wall says Tractor Shed.
From Stokesley/Kildale studio is first left before 30mph sign. From Castleton on low road turn left after pub.

Welcome to my website. I now have a new website-carolinerileyart.com which shows all my new work. This website will remain until my domain runs out (or is cancelled because it ends in .eu -who said Brexit would be easy???) The new website is also easier to manage and eventually will have a paypal link-all being well!

Although based in North Yorkshire, my latest work is inspired by the fabulous landscape of the Isle of Skye. I've been visiting for the last 25 years or so-always come back with sketches and ideas-and finally put together a body of work to exhibit on the island (Aros, near Portree till 26th May 2017). When the exhibition on Skye finishes it will be coming back to the studio before going out again to Coast Gallery, near Scarborough, for a few weeks.
My idea was to do studies, and collect bits and pieces, at as many bays as possible (this is ongoing-there are a lot of bays on Skye-not all of them accessible). The results can be seen on Skye 2017 page. There will be more I think.
